The Story behind Old Goat Arts

Old Goat Arts comes from the fact that I am a retired Chief Petty Officer from the US Navy.  The navy mascot is a goat a nickname for a Chiefis a goat, therefore a retired Chief is an "Old Goat."
After retirement I began doing metalwork, first as a means to make custom pieces for my motorcycle, which led to the blacksmithing hobby and products.  During COVID I had a part break in my forge and due to supply chain issues could not get a repair piece.  To relieve the boredom, I bought a small lathe and tried my hand at woodturning. After a few years I bought a bigger lathe and started increasing my products.
